Timothée and Camille Calvot

Timothée and Camille Calvot

We both studied at the Faculté Jean Calvin in Aix and got married six months after I had finished my Bachelor’s. We began married life in the Paris region, where Timothée was doing an internship in a church. In September 2011 we came to work in Marseille, Timothée as a full-time pastor in a church-plant with the Reformed Evangelical Protestant Churches.

A word to those who are wondering whether they have a vocation for ministry

On my first vsit to the Faculté I was struck by a certain look in the eyes of the students I saw. I soon realised that this was because they felt called to serve God. As the academic assistant, dealing with student recruitment, I would be on the front line, dealing with new candidates who come with a desire to serve but who also have their strengths and weaknesses.

DEAR FRIENDS,
MINISTRY PARTNERS,

The semester is finally over!
It was a very busy one indeed, and at times quite stressful. With Erin's French class and my teaching load, some weeks were actually exhausting. But by God's grace and provision, we arrived at the end of our first semester in France!

Dear Friends,

They say the only thing worse than no website is a lifeless website. Confession is good for the soul: our Huguenot Fellowship website has been moribund for some five or six years. This simply means we have not been meticulously keeping it current. Ironically, the organization itself has been abundantly active.

            But that has just changed...

FACULTE JEAN CALVIN Prayer Requests June 2016

So that the Word becomes flesh ...

Pray for the end of the academic year and for the students as they take their exams (June 13-17).

Pray for the beginning of the next school year that we will draw new students from our churches to train to better serve.

Continue to pray for the funding of our two new professors (who arrive in September 2016).
